Overall Satisfaction with Symantec Endpoint Encryption
There have been some challenges with Symantec Endpoint Encryption over the years through the integration of the two products (GuardianEdge and PGP) however, these problems have been resolved and a great product has come out. Symantec Endpoint Encryption has been used to help manage our self-encrypting drives, BitLocker encrypted devices and even our Mac machines through FileVault.
The product is great for managing our encrypted needs on all of our devices and also enables our helpdesk to deal with users who forget their passphrase or need help resolving the issue.

- Manages FileVault, BitLocker, self-encrypting Drives, and PGP encryption
- Better console for management
- Keeping up with new releases of Windows and Mac
- Allows our helpdesk staff to help users who forget their encryption passhprase or need other help with things
- Provides ease of mind for management with them knowing all devices are encrypted
- Easy to use for our end users
We needed a tool to manage BitLocker and FileVault and this product does both. Also, we needed a product to manage our self-encrypting drives (OPAL drives) and things work great.
