Overall Satisfaction with Teradata Vantage

In our organization and from the commercial intelligence area we use Teradata Vantage to solve customer segmentation, behavioral analysis to assign differential prices of our products and data-based solutions that collaborate with transactional systems such as granting pre-approved loans or benefits granted in account for promotions with associated businesses.We also create the semantic layer in Teradata Vantage on which the BI reports are built.

The use of
Teradata Vantage in the organization is intensive since it not only supports the
semantic layer to perform the organization's BI (mainly given by management
reports and dashboards) but is also used to provide customer information to
transactional systems. that are processed in the DW useful for the sales and customer
experience areas

In our experience, it brought us excellent results for working in batch mode with a huge amount of information, processing it and then delivering valuable information to the transactional and operational systems to act on with clients. A scenario not yet explored is the online one where it could be necessary to change the way we use Teradata Vantage today.
