Overall Satisfaction with TIBCO BusinessWorks

It is used as a middleware for processing orders. It receives the orders from an order management system, translates, transforms and sends the order to an ERP system for order processing and the ERP system processes the orders and gets it shipped through warehouses. Once the order status changes to shipped, canceled, etc., ERP sends a notification to TIBCO and in turn it translates the information to the order management system in an understandable format and sends it to OMS.

It also takes care of email notification to customers. It also takes care of the order return processing and also passes the order information to BI systems.

  • Sometimes their UI is very slow and hangs
  • Middleware integrations have become faster.

  • It handles connectivity with almost all the systems and provides various adapters for connectivity.
It has given me a good career growth. It's a robust and stable tool with numerous functionalities.

TIBCO has various product suites which can be leveraged by businesses for their different needs like MDM, event based processing, BPEL, Spotfire, and JASPERSOFT.

TIBCO is also focusing on a current trend which is cloud which is a good thing. Integration over cloud. Wow, it will be fun to work.
It is well suited for medium and large business integration needs. It provides the capability for integrating with almost all the applications. It provides several adapters for connectivity which reduces the development time and time to market.

This tool becomes costly for a small scale business and they go for a freeware integration tools.

I like using this product because the time to market with this product is very less with very less effort of coding.Deployment process is very easy.EMS servers make messaging very easy.
