Overall Satisfaction with TIBCO BusinessWorks
We use TIBCO BW as an integration tool between our different ERP's and legacy systems. It's being used across the whole organization.
- It can be extended with plugin usage.
- It's a very robust solution
- It's a proven solution all over the globe
- It follows the SOA principles
- Very ugly UI to develop.
- It is hard to learn for some people.
- It is hard to get resources to excellent skills on TIBCO.
- Very expensive licences
- In my company they are moving to other solutions (open source mainly) because of expensive licenses.
- Business users are always complaining that development is too slow. In general biz users don't like TIBCO
Mulesoft if gaining terrain.
The mapping tool is one of the best in the market. When structures are big and complex some times is hard to read.
The debugger tool is excellent to perform automated testing. You can easily define your unit tests and execute them in the debugger, then save the results to a file o send them via email or to a DB or wherever you want.
TIBCO is lacking of a centralized placed where the users can upload their "API's", mulesoft is wining here.
TIBCO is taking too much to time to get into the cloud solutions.
