Overall Satisfaction with Trend Micro Email Security
Our organization uses Trend Micro Email Security as our gateway security service for spam protection, email filtering, email encryption, and data loss prevention. We also implement and manage Trend Micro Email Security as our sole email security platform for our customers. Trend Micro's email security enables us to protect both ourselves and our customers from both external email threats and internal data loss.
- Policy creation and customization are quick and easy for both inbound and outbound emails.
- Logs are easy to search.
- End user email quarantine digests are convenient.
- Needs better explanation of policy aggressiveness thresholds (e.g., what does "Highest" mean?).
- It has helped us protect our internal users and end-users from email threats that could result in downtime.
As a reseller, it can be difficult to locate the appropriate support number to call, however, once a case has been opened for a support request, it is generally resolved fairly quickly.

Overall, Trend Micro Email Security does what is designed to do, however, it can be a bit frustrating tweaking the policies to get them just right due to the vagueness of some of the levels of protection available for some of the features (e.g., scales that range from "Low" to "Highest").
