Overall Satisfaction with Tricentis Tosca
Tricentis Tosca was brought in as part of a tool consolidation exercise where we had a lot of automation happening on Selenium, Provar, Worksoft Certify on web, SFDC, SAP, and various legacy applications. Scattered automation happening on various tools increased dependency on automation testers with knowledge of each tool and framework knowledge transition etc. Tosca helped us in training our existing workforce instead of hiring from outside. Major license cost saving after tool consolidation to Tosca. Great support enabled easy resolution to issues, customizations, upgrades, etc. Major absorption of Tosca is happening at our client organization where there are a lot of projects which are moving from open source as well as paid tools.

Micro Focus UFT requires coding skills. Worksoft supports SAP very well but web app automation was challenging. Provar is only for Salesforce automation. Selenium required an automation engineer with Java knowledge and framework dependency. Tricentis Tosca did not require any scripting skills and can automate any kind of application.
