Pros
- Tweetdeck is great for monitoring several terms at once, and providing desktop notifications.
Cons
- Mobile integration – the iphone and ipad apps do not provide the same kind of view.
- Allows us to respond to constituents in the most timely manner possible – saving us time and time is money.
Product Usage
54 - Four as a part of their full time jobs (Director of Emerging Media, Community Manager, and Social Communications Manager) within the Social Media department. Also approx. 50 people use Twitter as a small part of their jobs.

- Although we didn’t purchase (it’s free) the problem was finding one central place to monitor everything that was being said about our brand on Twitter, and Twitter’s web platform only shows mentions or search terms one at a time.
- We primarily use it for listening and also customer support (we intervene if somebody is having a problem or saying something negative).

We’ve always used Tweetdeck for Twitter monitoring.
