Overall Satisfaction with Unique Learning System
I use ULS daily for my social communication level 3 supports class. The visual supports are great. Having the units available for the year is helpful in planning! The benchmark assessments are great for assessing student needs and growth!
Pros
- Differentiating answer choices and text levels
- Science experiments!
- Integrating vocabulary into monthly theme
Cons
- Healthier recipes but the visual supports and recipe reviews are great
- Adding the daily calendar feature for all users not just the News2You subscribers
- It helps with planning- the type of activity can stay the same but the content changes so my students can transition to work easier
It helped with my professional development goals- the benchmark assessments provided data support for instruction
We did a ULS science project as a class and submitted an entry into the school science fair!
I have only experienced ULS as a special education curriculum, before that we were struggling to adapt general education curriculums and piecing together from TPT.
