Overall Satisfaction with Unique Learning System
Utilizing Unique Learning System has proven to be highly beneficial this year. As I further develop my understanding of both Unique Learning System and Polaris, I have come to recognize how they assist in assessing students' academic standing at various points throughout the year.
Pros
- Different levels
- Breaks down the subject as well as the topic
- wide variety of lessons
- immediate results
Cons
- On the students' main page, lessons need to have subject categories. They are all combined. Hard to narrow down.
- save time prepping IEPs
- clear information based on assessments
So much easier to use and assign to students. Results from lessons and benchmarks are easy to read.
There have been several instances, but my most recent experience involved a student who transferred into our district. By administering benchmarks at various levels, I was able to gain a clearer understanding of the student's academic standing.
Honestly, it was provided by our district.
