Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I utilize Unique Learning System's Curriculum to support my students with extensive support needs in an educational setting. I am able to create student profiles and assign specific assignments for students to work on that are targeted at supporting them with their goals. I am also able to have a theme to support students based on the unit pacing and variety of units that Unique Learning System offers to support students in learning structured around a goal.

All-in-one Curriculum

It has helped me to have more clarity in my focus with my students so that I can choose a unit and work on a theme across all of my classes so that I am able to be more focused on engaging with my students and creating a fun environment through having the ease of the structure already created for me.

User Impact

Through the use of the Unique Learning System Curriculum, I have been able to see a student transform from a student who had significant outbursts in class and showing no signs of interest in reading, to a student who has almost 80 % fewer outbursts and is able to participate in the reading with the one-on-support of his aide working on the reading with him and having the symbols provided for him through the amazing curriculum.

Usability

It was challenging for me to understand how to utilize the Unique Learning System initially and it took me over a year to understand how to access many of the resources. Once I was able to work with the curriculum for a while, I was able to see how many more resources there were. Having a training video that goes over how to access the curriculum would be amazing for people new to navigating it.

When it comes to working with students with extensive support needs, it requires a lot of effort and energy to meet the needs of students who have such varied needs. Unique Learning System gives supports to be able to meet the varied needs without having to create the materials because they are created for you. It is such a relief to have visuals to accompany math problems as well as to support the words in reading. It is also awesome to have a multi sensory curriculum to use with primary aged students especially when you have access to a touch screen and they can interact with letters and sounds and build their reading skills.
