Overall Satisfaction with Unique Learning System
I think Unique Learning System is great with supporting kids on modified curriculum. I just wish it was more content available. Maybe videos with some of the content being taught - so the teacher knows exactly what Unique Learning System wants. Or even to engage students better. Other than that it's good... I do wish that their grades could translate into a grade-book or log of assignments that's easier to view than the performance tab.
Pros
- Providing lessons that are aligned to the alternate standards
- The math lessons are especially helpful
- I like that there is also science and social studies lessons
Cons
- Maybe having a grade-book
- More details ELA lessons
- Expanding the ELA units to include more
- Specific writing assignments
- Sentence development etc.
- Greatly supported with my students with alternate curriculum
- Have helped to fill some academic deficits
- Provides some asynchronous work as well as lessons for me to teach
I think there is more to Unique Learning System than I know. I did not know there were progress monitioring tools.
