Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup for AWS

We use Veeam Backup for AWS for automating backup and Data Retention for Cloud. It provides an easy and intuitive UI to manage setting up backups and a simple restore process. Security compliance requires a fixed number of data retention and backups in case of cyber attacks. Using Veeam, we were able to tackle this without complications.

  • Pricing and subscription.
  • Integration to on-premise solutions.
  • Quick deployment saving time and efforts.
  • Managing compliance.
  • Not very cost effective for small scale organization.
The availability factor is pretty much as good as perfect. Recovering data to new locations have some bottlenecks which can be improved to satisfy the overall experience.

But the cost factor and subscription model are something you should consider based on the size of your organization. Overall, if cost is not the deciding factor, then go for it.
