Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup for AWS

We use Veeam Backup for AWS as our cloud-native backup and recovery solution to protect AWS workloads, running in EC2 instances, EBS volumes, or RDS databases. Veeam Backup for AWS provides a simple and efficient way to protect your AWS workloads and ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster or data loss.

Veeam Backup for AWS provides a good range of options for recovering data, including full and granular recoveries, recoveries to new locations, and various recovery options, and the near-instant recovery of entire instances, by running the instance directly from the backup file. This flexibility allows you to recover your data when, how, and where you need it, depending on your specific recovery requirements.
I had looked at N2WS Backup & Recovery backup and disaster recovery solution for AWS environments. But while it provides similar backup and recovery capabilities as Veeam Backup for AWS, it lacks some of the advanced features such as instant VM recovery, file-level recovery, and integration with Veeam Backup & Replication.

Veeam Backup for AWS is Well-suited to large-scale AWS environments, with multiple instances, volumes, and databases to protect, and where fast backup and recovery times are required, making it well-suited for scenarios where fast recovery is critical. Veeam Backup for AWS is less suited where there are only a few instances or volumes to protect, as other backup solutions may provide a more cost-effective solution.
