Peace of mind knowing that all data is backed up in the event that there is a major Microsoft 365 outage and our data would still be inaccessible on a separate platform.
Fortunately we have not been in the scenario to use this capability in a real world case but having the peace of mind knowing that we're fully protected in case this ever does happen makes me sleep better at night.
The ability to restore at the item level for files is very valuable for us. It's a very strong product in this capability. We've had to restore a ton of data in the past only to get a couple of items. This solution helps us avoid that and in turns helps improve productivity.
Item-level restoration - helps reduce the need to have to restore a ton of data just to get a few specific files.
Easy of use and stable product - Veeam is a complete and mature product and it shows. Interface is straightforward and easy to use.

Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 beats Commvault Complete Data Protection in my eyes. Commvault's user interface isn't as intuitive as I'd like when running it head-to-head with Veeam's Backup for Microsoft 356 offering. Commvault's pricing is also a bit higher for our specific needs. From testing both solutions, support is on the same level, however.
