Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365

we use it to backup mailboxes,sharepoint and onedrive data

Pros

  • simple interface
  • reliable

Cons

  • difficult to troubleshoot problems
  • it has been useful for storing data for users that have left the organization
we looked at 2 other options and we were already familiar with Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 and we liked the simplicity
overall its good
we have used it to regularly backup user data and on the occasions when when users have left the business we have often needed to restore data from their onedrive
We have never needed to restore to an original location, we have used the restore to our on premise server many times.
simple design
rubrik, commvault & acronis
we have had a couple of issues over the 2 years and the support has not been the best. one time we wanted to merge two licenses together and that was such a hassle dealing with the support teams
