Go with Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365. It's Really a No-Brainer Solution!

Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365

When I arrived at the origanization there were no scheduled frequent backups for email or data. With my previous experience with Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 I brought it to the organization and quickly integrated it with our AWS storage environment. My team within a day were able to spin up a Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 instance, connect it to our AWS storage environment, connect to our Azure and M365 environment and began backing up all user's Exchange email, Microsoft Teams, and O365 data quickly. We have our data scheduled to backup nightly without fail.

Pros

  • Backup Email, MS Teams, and O365 data.
  • Recovery at the file level is super simple.
  • It's a "set it and forget it" system. Very little maintenance required!

Cons

  • I find the recovery interface (folder structure tree) a little difficult to see at times.
  • Cost is negligible.
  • Licensing is inexpensive.
  • It's the most cost-effective backup solution that is consistently reliable I have found.
Ensuring data is backed up properly and quickly recoverable is a requirement for our organization. Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 is the "bar-setter" for backup solutions. After researching and looking at competitors in the data backup market we reached out for licensing quotes and Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 came back affordably and with the team's previous knowledge and experience using Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 it made the purchasing decision a no-brainer.
Simple to setup, simple to maintain, simple to use, simple to recover data. It's just so simple to use and implement in our environment.
We have recovered accidentally recovered files for users as well as full organization recovery table-top exercises.

I have never come across an issue where I needed to reach out to Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 support in the past. Given how easy my experience was setting up the software, configuring it, and ease of use I assume the customer support will be just as easy to utilize.

Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 is the perfect M365 backup product! It backs up Microsoft email, Teams, and O365 data flawlessly. We have never experienced any failures in our nightly backups nor downtime. Consistently when a user has reached out to my team to recover an accidentally deleted file, folder, or email we have 100% recovery rate.
