Count on Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 for content protection

We use Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 to protect our Exchange Online mailboxes and, most importantly, protect SharePoint Online content, including all our active sites across the whole organization. We were looking for the backup solution to extend basic Office 365 recovery options and selected Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365, as it totally addresses all our business continuity requirements.

Evaluating Office 365 data protection risks, we found the standard Office 365 recovery options don't cover all possible scenarios, so we were looking for other options and Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 was the winner.

Fortunately we didn't need to restore data in production, but we do the test restore periodically and are very happy with the overall performance and stability.

All our restore experience is still limited to the periodic test restore--we test it all including restore to the original file location and the whole site restore and have never encountered any issues.

Office 365 modern authentication support is very important. I also very much like the option for community edition; one can protect a small tenant or validate all the production features for free.
