Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication
Veeam Backup & Replication is used by several of our companies and we use it to backup and replicate VMWare images on a nightly basis.
- Migration of backups for failover.
- Storing our VM backups.
- Automating the process of storing, migrating or replicating backups.
- The only thing I would mention would be a smoother install of products. Our first install was rather confusing due to the different options so I would recommend a description of the different installs to allow for a more thought out install by the user.
- The cost outweighs the negative results of not having an automated backup.
6 physical servers with various amounts of virtual servers.
It definitely worked as stated. We have tested and used it for hardware failures and maintenance.
We test our backups on a schedule and we have not seen any issues.
Veeam Backup & Replication was hands down better than the other products we use or tested.
