Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication

Veeam Backup & Replication is our full VM backup solution replacing an older software with fewer features. We use in on the Network team to backup all of our virtual environment as well as testing backups, replicating VMs to a remote site/cloud, and restoring. It fixes all the qualms we had with our previous product and then some.
  • Great user interface for getting quick results.
  • Seems to be faster than previous backup system we had.
  • Support is quick and friendly.
  • Could use some physical server tools (as opposed to VM only).

  • Its reduced the stress of backups.
  • Testing backups automatically is a dream come true.
  • The warm fuzzy feeling of knowing your machines are safe is priceless.
This is an easy one. Pretty much any colleague who's asked what we're using for backups has heard of or been recommended to use Veeam Backup & Replication. They're usually the last holdouts that are hanging on for dear life to their current backup solution, but once they hear Veeam performs so well in the real world, they will switch.
