Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication
Veeam Backup & Replication is being used by our organization as a way to keep our VMs, physical, and cloud servers safe and sound. It solves many problems including back or failed backups, slow backups, and tough restore resting. All that is no longer a problem for us and backups are running smoothly.

Pretty much all of our workloads are being protected by Veeam Backup & Replication. We originally planned to test it on a couple systems but that grew fast and now it's all on there. We have it as part of a new server setup step to go add it to Veeam.

Mostly looking for something that can out-perform our existing product and do it in record time. We did upgrade our storage to SSDs so that is going to be faster, but even when writing to older spinning disks we get great performance. Also, we needed more options in our backups like cloud features.
The cloud options available for Veeam are pretty extensive. You can easily configure all your backup types to use public cloud services for backup, restore, and replication. It makes it an easy place to have your DR set up and ready to go. Also gives you peace of mind that you can get your system up and running at a moment's notice.
The NAS functions are just like the rest of the system, quick and easy. Delegating file-level restores to your help desk staff can save the network team time and effort when a user has a request. We have benefited greatly since moving most of our file shares over to the Veeam tool.
