Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Platform
We’ve been using Veeam Data Platform for running backups for many years now, it’s a great product that works as described. We’re now looking to use it to backup our M365 data as well as on premise data.

Cons
- As a non profit, pricing is always something that is difficult - the licensing costs for cloud backups is expensive as they charge per user
- Virtualized workloads
- Endpoints and physical servers running Windows & Linux
- In addition to back up, we also snapshot some of these workloads
- Cloud-hosted VMs within AWS or Azure
- NAS filers
- Application-centric recovery using Veeam Explorers (for Exchange, SQL, Sharepoint, etc)
- None of the above
- Complete backup solution for all on premise infrastructure
Best practice, industry leading solution
This is something we are looking to deploy now as our reliance on on premise infrastructure has reduced and we move more workloads to the cloud
Much better, better ui, faster, easier to use. Will be replacing datto with Veeam Data Platform for cloud infrastructure too
