Overall Satisfaction with Vembu BDR Suite

Straightforward in creating new jobs. Knowing when the last backup occurred.
It is primarily used to backup Hyper V VMs.

Pros

  • Automating backups and retentions periods.
  • Notifications of failed backups.
  • Clear dashboard to view the status of backups.

Cons

  • Improve the process of restoring a backup. It is confusing to restore a VM the initial time.
  • Automated the backup process, reduced labor needed to perform backups.
The modular approach was very appealing to only purchase what is needed. Didn't need to pay for functionality that would not be used.
Provides added functionality for Hyper V backups over Windows Server backup function.
