Overall Satisfaction with Vembu BDR Suite

Easy to use interface and simple to deploy to servers.
Across most of our customers. We use it as a great/reliable backup tool.

Pros

  • Easy interface which makes setting up/restoring backups easy.
  • Light weight and doesn't slow down the network.
  • Great customer support team who is quick to answer/resolve issues.

Cons

  • Vague failure messages make troubleshooting hard sometimes.
  • Helped us to recover clients who had a total data loss.
Clients either use Vembu or Cobian backup. Though Cobian is a free service the support and product you get with Vembu is worth it.
Well suited for small/medium businesses for nightly backups. Would rather use a more onsite utility for larger offices.
