Overall Satisfaction with Vertafore Agency Platform
We use Vertafore for one department of the organization, and this department brings in roughly 50% of the total yearly revenue for the company. Vertafore's products assist the business unit in managing client data and allowing our agents to better serve the customer. On my end of things, in IT, Vertafore has support teams available for each product to assist in day-to-day function as well as upgrades and future planning.
Pros
- Documentation of products/features
- Support response time

- Price (although thats not a concern for my role)
- Website "knowledge base" is difficult to navigate
- On the IT side, their support teams make my life easier by taking care of issues that come up.
- The numbers I've seen for support appear high, however, I myself have nothing to compare this to - maybe they are average.
I have not used any other similar products or services, however, we have had many acquisitions and we always convert their systems over to Vertafore rather than using what they have. AMS360, Applied and TAM systems have all been converted to our Vertafore system.
