Daily operations such as data maintenance/clean-up, download, reports, direct bill invoicing. The product addresses inconsistencies in data (via reporting tool) which can then be fixed. Reports are run monthly or more frequently to ensure information is accurate when upper management view production analysis.

It is user friendly. Vertafore needs to offer more free new user training - the videos are helpful but not as good as a real person.

We use Vertafore for one department of the organization, and this department brings in roughly 50% of the total yearly revenue for the company. Vertafore's products assist the business unit in managing client data and allowing our agents to better serve the customer. On my end of things, in IT, Vertafore has support teams available for each product to assist in day-to-day function as well as upgrades and future planning.

  • Website "knowledge base" is difficult to navigate
I am in IT, and on my end their support is pretty good. Tickets are answered within a few hours on average, sometimes quicker. Anytime we have major upgrades they are on standby to assist if need be. Their teams are also available with larger projects from planning to implementing.
  • On the IT side, their support teams make my life easier by taking care of issues that come up.
  • The numbers I've seen for support appear high, however, I myself have nothing to compare this to - maybe they are average.
I have not used any other similar products or services, however, we have had many acquisitions and we always convert their systems over to Vertafore rather than using what they have. AMS360, Applied and TAM systems have all been converted to our Vertafore system.
Its very good. They have teams for each software product they offer. They have specific teams available for specific tasks such as data migrations, upgrades, etc. The employees they hire for their support teams are always knowledgeable about their products and are good to work with. They also speak clear english which is a plus when details matter and an incorrect or misunderstood word/phrase could cause issues.
