Overall Satisfaction with Viewpoint Vista

We are using Vista by Viewpoint across all of our companies. It helps make the process of transferring information from the field to paper a lot easier and organizes information promptly.
  • Sets up and organizes projects that we are currently working on. In PM Projects you can set up new jobs that we are working on in the field and can manipulate the breakdown of each cost code.
  • Make information easily accessible. Whether it's AP, job cost, or project management, all of the programs are available in the most convenient way.
  • Utilize crystal reports to create timely billing information that can be organized in whatever way you desire.
  • Needs more font sizes.
  • Undo options.
  • T&M customization options.
  • Better performance
  • Positive impact on ROI
  • More organized and timely in achieving objectives
We currently utilize both HeavyBid and HeavyJob in the field for our company, and we have found that Vista by Viewpoint has many of the same features as both programs. However, we have found that it is easier to use. Vista by Viewpoint allows for better manipulation of costs than HeavyJob and HeavyBid.
Viewpoint is well suited for job setup and creating reports. We can track our costs in a timely and organized manner. Viewpoint by Vista is not well suited for T&M Billing, as we have found many issues with setting up specific T&M invoices. We can't break down each category in the manner that we are aiming for.
