Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are cloud service provider, vSphere is being used in the backend for virtualization.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Resource Management
Advance management of Virtual Machines easily
Virtualization of Storage, x86 machines, and network vSphere is quite advanced

Cons

I have only used vSphere so can't compare it with other products from my point of view it is a great product

Return on Investment

Positive - It has provided server consolidation, server deployment (an easy task)
Negative - lack of technically trained people to handle it

Alternatives Considered

I have used AWS cloud, and no other virtualization product apart from vSphere, comparing both of them would not be good, as they both cater to different needs of the customer.

Zerto Virtual Replication, Cisco UCS B-Series, EMC VNX, VMware vSphere Data Protection Advanced, VMware vCenter Server

Likelihood to Recommend

It is an amazing product for server virtualization; also provides high availability with simple and easy to use techniques like HA and FT.
