Overall Satisfaction with Webroot DNS Protection
Webroot DNS Protection is a security product that uses DNS (Domain Name System) to protect an our network from malicious websites and other online threats. A job it does incredibly well.
To use Webroot DNS Protection in an organisation at the most basic implementation level, an administrator would first need to some configuration with the Webroot product on the organisation's DNS server. This could be done by changing the DNS server settings to point to Webroot's DNS servers, or by configuring a DNS forwarder to forward requests to Webroot's servers. Once configured, Webroot DNS Protection automatically blocks access to known malicious websites and other online threats. This is then used to help protect the organisation from malware, phishing, and other types of cyber attacks. Our main use cases for Webroot within the business is protecting employees from accidentally visiting malicious websites while browsing the internet and enforcing organisational policies regarding internet usage.
