WordPerfect Office provides an alternative to Microsoft Office using one of the best word processing application. The ability to get a clear document without a lot of the Microsoft Word issues simply is amazing. Simple to use and simple to learn.
Pros
- Built-in publishing to PDF, that supports hyperlinks and watermarks.
- Real-time previews of formatting options.
- The Variables feature allows a variable or placeholder to be placed in multiple locations in a document.
Cons
- Quattro Pro needs to be improved over Microsoft Excel.
- Paradox Database has not been updated in the past 9 years.
- Presentations works but not as well as PowerPoint.
- Dealing with outside clients that may not have WordPerfect.
- Interfacing with Microsoft products.
- Some of the software needs to be updated..
WordPerfect is the ultimate word processing application allowing documents and manuals to be developed quickly. The issue, for the most part, is providing a document to the outside world since most people have Microsoft Office you will have a tough time.
