Workday Workforce Management - An HR Force That Saves Time and Money
Overall Satisfaction with Workday Workforce Management
We use Workday Workforce Management to manage personal data, HR functions, learning, networking, and career building. We maintain up-to-date contact information and preferred name/pronouns, update our emergency contacts, etc. We also have access to the ever-changing org chart and can see time worked, time-off requests, and when they get approved after submission. We can pull up past pay stubs and see our benefits easily.
Pros
- Approvals for time-off requests
- Approvals for expense reimbursement
- Upcoming seminars/webinars for continuing education
Cons
- It has a steep learning curve
- Not really a help desk available
- Not customizable on my authority level
- Workday Workforce Management has lowered the amount of time team members have to go to HR for questions.
- The approval process for reimbursement is lightning fast.
- I am no longer requested to research my team's different benefit options, which saves me a LOT of time during enrollment periods.
- UKG Workforce Central (discontinued)
Limitations of UKG reporting tools are what made us switch. After a new rollout, we had to use the customer service desk a lot, and it was not a good experience. They also changed the system capabilities, like advanced reporting. When that was removed, we had to export the data manually, which resulted in FREQUENT crashes.
