Overall Satisfaction with Zoho People
We use Zoho People as a self service HR tool that helps streamline administrative processes. It allows employees to independently manage and monitor their leaves, holidays, working hours, attendance and compensatory hours which reduces the need to contact the HR for these updates. This saves time and makes record keeping easier.
Pros
- Easy leave management - It simplifies leave requests which allows employees to view their leave balances, holidays and apply for leaves directly from the app
- Accurate time tracking - It efficiently tracks employees working hours, overtime or compensatory hours which helps keep a detailed record
- Automated notifications and reminders - It sends automated reminders for check in/out, leave approvals, attendance regularization and other important updates
- Comprehensive HR analytics
Cons
- Check in and GPS issues - The app sometimes struggles with location detection during check-in which delays logging in
- Limited offline access - Zoho People should have had an offline functionality making it difficult for employees to check in or log hours when internet connection is an issue
- Clunky user interface - I personally find the interface bit too cluttered which makes navigation difficult
- Reduced administrative time - The automated leave and attendance management saves our HR team about 30% of their time
- Improved employee productivity - The self-service access to HR information has made approvals faster and fewer interruptions which boosts employee productivity and satisfaction
