Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Events & Webinars

We utilize Zoom Webinars for all our webinars within our scientific society. This allows us to reach people worldwide with our scientific webinars. We use Zoom webinars on average once or twice a month for our webinars. The Zoom platform is much easier for our speakers to use than the previous platforms we have used.

Pros

  • Speaker access.
  • User-friendly.
  • Easy to build a webinar.
  • Easy to look up analytics after the webinar.

Cons

  • Director speaker join- sometimes it doesn’t work, and I have to send multiple emails for the speakers (who didn’t receive the original Zoom invitation) to join the webinar.
  • Updating the event description - the latest update made it difficult to update the description for the event in any place other than the event page, which is clunky.
  • More engagement and attendance from our audience.
  • Happier speakers and organizers.
  • Less complaints from speakers and organizers.
  • Easy to learn and use.
It is very easy to use, both for the organizer who is building the webinar and for the speakers. Controls and settings are straightforward, and even without training, I would have easily been able to figure out what I needed to do to accomplish my objectives. It is also easy to train others in the interface.
Zoom Webinar is much easier for our speakers to use and log into, especially if they have an Apple computer.

The program is much easier to build and design the webinar, as well as for our speakers to log in and speak, compared to other interfaces we have used (GoToWebinar, X-CD). It is also easy to see the analytics after each webinar, which our organizers appreciate.
