Overall Satisfaction with Zscaler Internet Access

We are currently using Zscaler (ZIA) and are rolling it out to our entire company. This was a big concern with the WFH caused by the pandemic and gives us the ability secure and protect our remote workforce. This is a replacement product for our organization to better protect our uses and provider better security monitoring.
  • DNS protection
  • Network security monitoring
  • Endpoint Network Protection
  • Better way to push out the Zscaler certs to endpoints
  • DNS Monitoring
  • Block malicious and unapproved sites
  • Centralized logging
  • No issues that I found
Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) gives us better and full visibility to websites, URL, requests etc that we didn't get with Cisco Umbrella. We could block things by domain name, but seeing subdirectories and subdomains for that, we didn't have that ability. It's probably there, but we didn't' want to pay for that. ZIA gives us more. Better logging and integration with SIEMs instead of syslog/S3 bucket subscription stuff.

Did Zscaler Internet Access live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Zscaler Internet Access go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Zscaler Internet Access again?

Yes

Distributed and remote workforce, this can provide similar protection and visibility that one would normally have in a corporate environment that protects users and endpoint. Zscaler (ZIA) gives you that NIDS/NIPS protection which makes my job as a security engineer much easier. Gives me better peace of mind for sure.
