Overall Satisfaction with Zscaler Internet Access

We use ZIA as our outbound firewall for all user laptops. We also have GRE tunnels at all our branch locations for non-laptop traffic.

Pros

Cons

  • Easier integrations with other Zscaler products.
  • Better logging.
  • Web insight logs need more filters.
  • Reduced the need for on-prem firewalls.
  • Network segmentation.
  • SSL inspection.
The user interface is easy to use. Some policies can be tedious to create and apply, such as DLP engines.
Both products identify traffic and the application that is being used. Zscaler excels in zero-trust security and its user interface.
