Overall Satisfaction with Zscaler Internet Access

We use it to block access to restricted sites internally as well as for clients. We have not had too much trouble with the rollout and only occasionally need to add exceptions to blocked sites. When we do, it's quick and easy to set up a bypass, whether for an individual, a department, or company-wide.

Pros

  • Block restricted content.
  • Monitoring performance of external services (with ZDX).
  • Monitor user activity across sites.

Cons

  • Performance: Some users in remote locations have noticed latency differences when ZIA is on versus off.
  • Replaced the expensive and limited functionality of our VPN client.
  • User traffic monitoring.
  • Troubleshooting insight for our Help desk team.
ZIA, once configured, has been relatively trouble-free to support, and the client connector is easy for our customers to use.
We were looking to move away from CheckPoint due to its mediocre performance and support.
