Transformation

Overall Satisfaction with Zscaler Internet Access

We use it as Internet proxy. We are not yet using the firewall feature. It protects our assets regardless if they're remote or in the office

Pros

  • Allows us to globally configure policies for all offices
  • Block unwanted categories of websites
  • block and protect web browsing

Cons

  • Notification on the console when Zscaler client is logged out
  • Advanced threat protection doesn't always allow a site to be accessed, often we have to exclude from SSL inspection
  • IP change and ZPA authentication requirement is not consistant
  • It has secured our internet browsing
  • sometimes it has been a challenge with conferencing systems like zoom or teams calls.
Overall its a great product
We used Appgate when we were evaluation to the ZTA, and because we were already a Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) customers, we decided to go with Zcaler ZPA

For a global visibility, protection and configuration, it is a great product.
We don't see a reason to use it for BYOD.
