MSFT Entra ID has been essential for managing our geographically dispersed team. Entra ID is a vital part of our Identity management/administration. With the integrations it has to other Microsoft products, setup and configuration is a breeze. Additionally, Microsoft has been around a long time and have the resources to ensure this product is stable and secure for many years to come. As a CSP providing a solution based on Business Central Online, we are dependent on Entra ID.
Both internally as well as at our customers, because Business Central Online simply authorizes using Entra ID.

In an Office 365 environment Entra ID is part of the package, it makes life easier compared to a traditional active directory. It’s feature rich, packed with analytics and security features to protect users from being compromised, it can be costly to equip all users with the extra features but is well worth the time saved and the extra features to avoid potential security breaches that can be costly for companies. The SSO features and integration into 3rd party applications is something that interests us, but a lot of our specialist software doesn’t support it, but it’s currently being developed so that will be another feature we will be using in the future.

It has been an essential tool and we have had very few problems using it. Nothing comes close that I have seen, though given how well it has worked out for us I really don't look very hard. The value is extremely high when you consider you get Microsoft Entra ID and the rest of the Microsoft 365 platform for one price.
