AHEAD vs. Simform

They are easily our go to company for anything revolving around VMware suite, whether that is infrastructure related, automation related, or monitoring related. It's a no brainier to get their assistance with a lot of tasks as they can competently implement complex designs. Also on the storage architecture side they are great. I'm sure there is much more but for my team we mainly leverage them in these areas.

Simform is great with project management, communications and execution. They've been exemplary with customer service in all areas. We had an original version of our app that was created and hosted by another partner that abruptly went out of business. We were left with no support and a pending loss of hosted services. Simform jumped in and moved our code base to their hosted environment and even made substantial improvements to our existing code with no downtime for our customers!

• The provided pre-req documentation was thorough and well thought out, making it easy to jump into the project.
• The design session to gather our requirements was very helpful, Sovereign's familiarity with the vRealize product line along with diagramming our desired layout confirmed our decision to bring in assistance with the project.
• When we ran into some issues with Sovereign's custom code their development team was on top of it and solved the issue in a matter of a few days.

• Simform delivered our self-serve application, including an MVP, within the agreed timeline.
• Their exceptional expertise and dedication continue to impress as they develop new features and maintain the application.
• The customer success team and project managers at Simform were committed to timely delivery. Despite the time zone differences, they navigated seamlessly, ensuring efficient planning and flawless implementation.

• Coordination of product orders with the vendor although I think the vendor is the bigger issue. Insuring delivery time frames are met is of great importance with these kinds of projects.
• Communication between scheduled project meetings. There could be more contact between meetings.
• Provide a customer portal for project tracking.

• There have been times when we thought our projects were to heavily staffed. We informed Simform of this and the issue was corrected immediately.
• One project we thought the Simform team member skill set did not match up with the requirements for the project. We alerted Simform of this and they quickly fixed the situation.

I would not call it training, rather would call it knowledge transfer.

Having extensive pre-implementaton dialogue really made the process much smoother. We had most of our bases covered and were ready for the equipment installation/implementation, except for the previously mentioned network configuration issues that arose.

We evaluated four different agencies and interviewed over 12 engineers as part of our selection process. Alongside Simform, we partnered with another firm that charged nearly double the rate. However, we found no significant difference in the quality or skillsets delivered. Simform stood out for their technical capability, responsiveness, and cost-effectiveness, making them the clear choice.
