Avaya Communications API (formerly Avaya CPaaS) supports the creation of communication apps providing IVR and automatic speech recognition, text-to-speech, SMS, or phone calls, or apply effects to communications (e.g. voice changer) as desired.
Teams have better collaboration features than Rainbow, but for companies like the one I worked for, hybrid communication is essential and Teams can't provide all the phone features we need to work.
Rainbow does a good job for the people who work for our company
We have tried many other CPaaS platforms including Twilio, Telnyx, Nexmo, SignalWire and Bandwidth. The Avaya CPaaS has the richest set of available features combined with the most competitive pricing model!
The main "power" of Rainbow is the hybrid model, to mix traditional telephony and the new way of communicating Rainbow is used in our company by "mobile" people who need to communicate easily with fixed telephones. For an emergency in a subway station, communications are very important and Rainbow provides everything we need for such communications.
