Ataccama ONE was a clear winner during our evaluation of many other products/vendors. Their offering was the best suited for our needs, and they are a company that we want to grow with over time.
Lob integrates like a SaaS company. PFL has limited technical integration. Lob allows us to scale through the same technical integration. Everything is self serve with Lob while it seems everything at PFL requires some interaction with a human.

After evaluating many of the leading data governance/management tools in the industry, Ataccama ONE quickly became a front-runner for our firm's needs and requirements. I particularly like how Ataccama focuses on investing a portion of its revenue on user-suggested enhancements - they truly want to grow with their clients, which is what we were looking for.
It is great for low-cost, high-volume mail campaigns for our agents. The price is very reasonable, and they can send out a lot. Once the design is approved and they send a list, we handle it, then Lob. When we have agents who want to handwrite the addresses, we choose someone else (a local print shop) to print and send them to our agents.
PostGrid Address Verification is good for teams that does address verification regularly or if you want to batch clean your customer address data in a single go. We do it daily basis so it works out quite well for us. We didn't need to implement anything as our product team was able to verify data quickly by watching tutorial videos.
An automatically scheduled data export would be nice.
Functions such as adding or editing bank accounts, updating check details, and querying data require knowledge of the specific code and API infrastructure. It would be nice to do these things without being an engineer trained in their specific interface language.
They reduced their retention period on their interface to like 3 months, which is not ideal.
One of the key factors in our choice to onboard Ataccama was its usability - general end users have everything at their fingertips, it is not difficult for IT developers to setup the tool, and it has been an overall pleasure.
In my opinion, the admin usability is horrendous. Specifically when looking for specific mailers, the search and pagination UI requires back end loading, it doesn't allow opening in new browser windows, it doesn't remember state when clicking into mailer requiring you to search again. I've started using Claude Code integrated with the API instead of clicking through the Admin UI because, in my experience, it is so hard to use.

As well as the unknowns that come with other options, switching vendors would likely require a significant multi-quarter effort without clear cost savings or efficiency gains.
