GenSight Enterprise Portfolio Management is well suited for companies that want to implement top-down portfolio management capability to analyze risk vs. value, prioritize, optimize balance, maximize value and ensure strategic alignment of the global R&D portfolio. It may not be the best fit for companies that want to implement a bottom-up project management capability to track the status of programs and milestones.

• Ability to split our multiple projects and assign a user base.
• Ability to set permissions based on user base/ roles.
• Customization of fields on a project level.

• The system offers easy system navigation and creation of custom reports.
• The system allows a multitude of project related fact fields enabling a comprehensive understanding of project standing
• The staff is fantastic at working with the clients to make the system as useful as possible.

• Updates to Resource Requirements & Financial Model based on changes to Project Start and Launch Dates
• Flexibility for Portfolio Admins to change attributes
• Flexibility to run ad-hoc reports and integration to visualization tools

I would plan on renewing and staying with BugTracker.net simply because it is a no nonsense easy to use tool. Once you get it set up and understand the small nuances with this custom piece of software, it really is a great tool to help your organization get started with Defect Management and BugTracking without having to drop several thousands of dollars on tools that are more fluff than function.

I didn't choose the product or evaluate other options, but I've been satisified with it except for tracking content changes.

GenSight was better suited for Integra and was easier to implement.

• Decreased turn around time for defect fixes.
• Smoother builder deploys
• Clearer communication from QA to Dev Team
