Built for Teams vs. Zalvis ATS (discontinued)

Perfect for allowing employees to track their paid time off and sick days. Useful for providing job summaries, explanation of benefits. We don't use it for tracking compensation, but it could be used for that purpose. We also post job announcements on the platform which is useful for me to see what kinds of jobs we are hiring for.

With the powerful applicant tracking features provided by Zalvis ATS, HR can effectively manage the whole hiring process, from the receipt of applications to the onboarding of applicants. It makes it possible to track candidate information, resumes, interview times, and feedback, expediting the hiring process. The app could be much better as compared to the website. Sometimes it lags when using mobile application. It could be better . Other wise it is useful.

• Reporting can be more robust.
• More user control and real-time communication via the app would be helpful.
• A better online calendar layout could be more efficient, but the current one is sufficient as well.

• We encounter restrictions in terms of how much they can modify the system to meet their unique needs.
• Customers who want to use third-party tools or systems that are not a part of the Zalvis ecosystem may encounter integration problems.
• Video interview feature is missing.

Slightly different focuses and I still use both. Microsoft Visio is great for creating all kinds of diagrams. Whereas Built for Tens is more about people management, so you can set up who is where and track their relationships through the other individuals in the organization. it’s all about using the right tool for the job at hand.

• It is super easy to maintain, leaving me free to tackle bigger issues in the organization
