Yealink Conference Phones

Yealink Conference Phones are well-suited for small to large-sized businesses. It provides excellent call quality in an easy-to-use interface which makes it perfect for any type of office or conference room. It does require power-over-ethernet, so you will require either a network switch with PoE or a separate adapter that will provide power to the phone.

Cisco Unified IP Phone 6900 Series

  • They have four bottons for features configurable at phone button template.
  • They have a botton for call pick, transfer and conference (models like 3905 does not have).
  • Their speakers are great.
  • It is possible to work with dual extension when using a 6921 model for instance, very usefull function.

  • Some models do not have [LCD] display.
  • Some Cisco advanced telephony service are not supported or difficult to start, since no physical buttons exist.
  • More color variants should be introduced.

I have only had to contact Yealink once in the entire time we have been using their phones. The issue was resolved quickly and did not impact our day-to-day business. Their website provides excellent support; user manuals are available, as well as firmware upgrades that you are able to download and install.

Cisco Unified IP Phone 6900 Series

Nowadays I wouldn't select that but in the past, I used to select because they were broadly implemented with easy maintenance, easy to use several models available for several types of users with a very good ROI, best audio quality also looking for Cisco itself they have one of the best support I [have ever seen] in the industry.

Yealink Conference Phones

We have used Aastra and Grandstream phones as well. The build quality and overall ease-of-use was not as good as the Yealink Conference Phones. Yealink simply works and does not require technical knowledge after it has been set up. The other phones needed more frequent reboots and configurations to get them to work properly.

  • I don't know that I am qualified to speak on the ROI.
  • I will say the group calling function helps with customer service because we can program the number to ring multiple people at one time or in a sequence to ensure calls are answered.
  • The ability to forward voice messages is a great asset for customer service as well.
