ClickTime vs. ClockShark

We love how customizable ClickTime is for tracking billable client and program hours. It does a great job of reporting each pay period. We simply wish the mobile interface was more feature-rich. Because we can only specify how long someone worked (and not the specific time of day those hours were at) on the mobile platform it makes it very difficult for us to tell if someone was working inside or outside of their standard business contract day.

This is the best solution we got for tracking all type of teams. Field, office, site based teams and remote teams too. the reports are great to get insights. You can actually watch in real time all the team members where they logged in, what task they are working (signed in for), and if they are on the relevant job site

• The ClickTime app works very well and is simple to use, however, I wish to see regular updates to improve the design and the layout of the app.
• The custom reports and templates for reporting hours or expense report should be updated regularly to include more custom reports.
• Overall, ClickTime does a good job, just a bit of work on the website design and ClickTime App would make the experience feel better while using it.

ClickTime is the first product of its kind I have had to use at work. Previous methods were always based in Excel documents and involved a lot more manual and redundant work for the same end result. It would be great if there were a better tie to our project management tools for time estimation, but it does the trick.

We evaluated Timeero and Clockify, but chose ClockShark because its GPS tracking and scheduling features felt much more robust for field-based teams. The interface is highly intuitive, making it a smoother transition for our workforce compared to the other platforms.

• Allows us to bill 100% of time spent on each job
• Allows us to analyze time spent on "flat billing" jobs and make adjustments to those set rates as needed
• Takes very little time to manage and enter time
