EARLY is a time tracking and productivity platform built for individuals and teams, from Timeular. The product used to be sold as Timeular.
We love how customizable ClickTime is for tracking billable client and program hours. It does a great job of reporting each pay period. We simply wish the mobile interface was more feature-rich. Because we can only specify how long someone worked (and not the specific time of day those hours were at) on the mobile platform it makes it very difficult for us to tell if someone was working inside or outside of their standard business contract day.
Really focused on using within a desktop environment rather than on the road (although there is a mobile app to use as an alternate). The tangible feel of the device on the desk makes it really easy to switch between tracking activities without interfering with your ongoing work. You need to carefully consider what activities to track as there are only 8 options.
ClickTime is the first product of its kind I have had to use at work. Previous methods were always based in Excel documents and involved a lot more manual and redundant work for the same end result. It would be great if there were a better tie to our project management tools for time estimation, but it does the trick.
I have tried pc based software equivalents including Toggl but managing it on the pc workstation makes it just another software item. I selected Timeular because it is a tangible item on my desk. This "breaks" the connection with the PC and means I am far less likely to track my activity throughout the day.
