Triple Whale is a marketing analytics solution that enables users to visualize data in one central dashboard, generate reports, and track profit. Upgrading to its attribution plan provides additional data and analytic capabilities. The "Full Whale" plan adds the company's Creative Cockpit and FinHub products which enable analysis by content type, tracks creative performance, and adds additional trend analysis.
There are no special resources needed to use Clicky - it works well for all the sites I've used it on, providing up to date metrics on visitors and actions. It started out as analytics particularly suited to bloggers and it's still very strong there, but I believe it can work in a wide range of scenarios.
For paid social accounts where demand generation, storytelling, and advanced attribution are necessary, this can help visualize that story and track a customer's journey in ways that you just otherwise wouldn't be able to do in a paid social platform. It does it so quickly that you're hardly taking any time to actually create these really advanced visualizations, which can help validate some of the thoughts or ideas you have on what the data is saying. In some cases, it can redirect you towards new thoughts or paths of what might or might not be happening that you otherwise wouldn't have thought of. Think of it almost like another expert on your team that just is a genius with data
It's hard to find a negative feature about Clicky, but if I must pick one, it would be the fact that some reports are only available for limited periods, which means you can't get a one year overview of all aspects of your site. That's just nitpicking, though, as what Clicky offers is more than enough for most people.
In addition to the factors already mentioned, Clicky is constantly being updated to improve functionality for users and the development team is extremely responsive. Recent updates include enhanced support for HTML5 audio and video tracking, additional visitor detail and new comparison trends. In my opinion, Clicky just keeps getting better
Without Moby, I'm not sure how much I would use Triple Whale. It feels a little intimidating, even to someone who is an expert in the field. Just because we're an expert at paid social or paid search doesn't mean we're an expert at attribution. There is a level of hand-holding necessary if we didn't have that AI integration to be able to use more plain language to unearth the golden nuggets that live within Triple Whale. Moby brings that to life. With Moby, it's a 10. It's amazing. Without Moby, it's probably a six. I'm sure all of the amazing nuggets still exist, but it's just hard to dig them up
Over the 7 years I've used it, Clicky has given me a better understanding of where my main visitors are coming from, contributing for example to a decision to create content in US English rather than my native UK English because most visitors are from the US.
Clicky provided real time stats when few others were doing so, enabling me to respond more quickly to visitors interacting with my content.
