Clutch vs. Growave

Clutch is well suited to a new company that is not very established. The site provides you with a way to be seen, a trusted backlink and a bit of traffic to your site. I think Clutch works well for larger companies who provide a very clear service, but not so well for more creative or custom companies.

After an exhaustive search, I was excited to choose Growave for my biz rewards & loyalty program, the Smile High Club™. The app is very customizeable so has checked off every requirement as far as our branding style guide goes. The greatest thing about Growave is its people. They are so kind, patient & know their stuff!! They always have an answer for me

• Top of Google search results for important keywords
• Provides space for detailed information about your company for the viewer
• Allows you to gather reviews from clients in a public space

• Support - They respond to emails quickly and professionally.
• Coding - They are Shopify experts and will also try to find a solution to a request.
• They are also cost effective meaning we are able to progress with development of our site without the high cost some other agencies charge.

• We have yet to win any new clients from our page on Clutch
• There is not much differentiation between companies, more categories would be better
• It would be nice to be able to customise our listing more to suit our brand and style

• Not really anything there that would necessarily be needed, or that troubled the usage of the app. Of course, there were some "problems" or how I would better describe it "things that needed to be changed" when we first started with the app, but the back office is very easy to use and understand and if there was something, that couldn't be solved there, the customer service was very easy to respond, handle and solve the situation. So that's not really a drawback, because I guess it's a normal thing.
• The only thing that could be adapted, is that the emails are not multilingual. So it is not possible to translate them even with another translation app. So that's sort of bad for a multilingual shop, but is only a minor drawback.

Because it has been a very useful app, easy to use, filled with great options and a terrific customer service.

We're currently a small newly launched eCommerce business so our needs are pretty basic. This app is free and does what we need it to and Growave's customer support and their dev team are super patient, helpful and attentive.

They are super attentive and will work with you to make sure that Growave is properly integrated on your site. I had a few conversations with them. They always had prompt replies and they helped to create some custom solutions so that their modules matched the style of our website. It was overall a really great experience working with them.

Yotpo seems to have more ways to integrate your reviews with other features on your site, but Growave is a simple solution for people who aren't actively focusing their attention on reviews. Yotpo also seems to have better filters for negative keywords and swear words (important for children's toy company). However, Yotpo carries a much higher price tag.

• We have yet to win any business via Clutch
• We worry that our listing on Clutch may put off potential clients as they group us together with other companies that are not that similar
• We are helped by the trusted backlink and small amount of traffic to boost our web vitals

• Consumers truly enjoy the loyalty point program.
• The App makes it very fluid for easy log in's by the consumer.
• E-mail Notifications and retention programs are effective.
