There are some aspects of HackerRank and CodeSignal that I think CoderPad should consider. This is quite subjective, but coding in HackerRank or CodeSignal just feels much better and I have less issues with bracket creation/alignment in languages such as Java/C++. The coding …
CodeSignal provides many features which HackerRank doesn't, such as Candidate comparison, 24*7 customer support. It also provides integration with several other applications such as greenhouse, workable, Smartrecruiters, Linkedin Talent Hub, Prelude, Okta, etc. Also, It's free …
As compared to other alternatives CodeSignal provided an exciting and user-friendly user interface that allowed me to keep pushing whatever I was working on, expanding my skillset and supporting me in achieving my objectives in a short amount of time. In terms of the amount of …
A most important feature is code signals support more languages than the other one and its prediction of the score is a very unique and important feature that dominates it from hacker rank. The integrated terminal is limited and code playback is limited in hackers but code …
CodeSignal is a significantly better platform compared to many of the other OA services. Code auto-suggest is fluid, and text parsing is better. On other coding platforms oftentimes brackets are hard to align correctly. The code testing feature is also incredibly convenient and …
- To conduct a preliminary assessment round when there are multiple candidates to choose from. Helps you to filter out candidates on the basis of requirements. - The questions that are assigned for each test are different, so the probability of any two candidates getting the exact same questions is very less. -However, the questions are based on the same concepts so as to provide an equal ground to all the candidates.- However, if you have to choose from less number of candidates you are better off conducting normal interviews, as these tests are time-consuming for both interviewers and employers.
I think code signal is one of the best platforms for organizations to better test the resource for their coding skills. Its way of conducting the test saves engineering time, reduces the risks that hiring companies have in technical interviews, and provides a cheating-free environment. The platform can be improved to make the new learners practice well on the platform and get used to it.
The test cases are quite well-written, and the grade we earn as a result of them is very fair. Users can use a unit testing tool to perform their own unit testing, allowing them to double-check their code before submitting it.
Intensive technical interview preparation
The online evaluation option is an excellent approach to assess candidates.
The platform should provide candidates with detailed feedback, allowing them to identify areas for improvement if necessary.
Furthermore, despite the fact that the assessment is complete, the platform prioritizes speed. In order to finish the assignment on time, people may be forced to forgo quality or desired output.
They should improve the question selection procedure, as some of the questions are too long to finish in the allocated time.
I give it this rating because it is very easy to use. Not only that it is proctored and trusted. Moreover, the candidates find it easy to use given that it is a single test. This means that we get much more applications than using other platforms. This helps us to hire better faster and easier with codesignal.
It's very straightfoward to use and simple. For our use case in coding interviews, we generate a link, give it to the candidate and we never got any complaints or questions asked, they were able to follow our scenarios perfectly.
I am not sure whether or not they have replaced but surely emerged as a big competitor. Their support system should be good knowing that they are in completion with the best hackerrank. I feel they could do a much better job but I have not used their support much
It has clear details for every staff to understand the basic, and staffs can communicate efficiently to provide strong backgrounds. Also, the manager who provided this training has collaborated well with the Codesignal staff so that everyone could learn more about CodeSignal and look at it from different users' perspectives. So the training was really helpful
We did use other option other than CoderPad. Before CoderPad we were using references for hiring but then again the whole process of assessment was not easy. It takes time. CoderPad came to our lives through a reference and since then it has somewhat changed the way we see hiring.
Codesignal provides features like screen recording and monitors candidates while they take the assessments, thereby reducing the possibility of cheating during the assessment, which is a known problem with other providers like HackerRank. Codesignal also provides predictive coding scores, which helps to better assess the capabilities of the candidates.
It has been advantageous in terms of saving time for our interviewees due to its simpler approach.
My coding abilities have greatly improved and continue to aid me in the interviews process.
The User Interface has caused me to spend more time on this application and has prompted me to discover new and more productive development techniques.
