Collibra offers more features [than alternatives] and is easy for business users to use. We did a proof of concept with Collibra using the Cloud service that allowed us to kick the tires and get a comfort level before we made the investment. At the time of our purchase the …
As I said in my previous comments, Stibo Systems Multidomain MDM suits very much perfect with any kind of MDM implementation be it Supplier/product/customer/location meanwhile other mdm applications are very specific to Product and customer(informatica), Customer MDM(Reltio), …
Stibo has an easy-to-use API to use as DATA as a Service. I like SAP Master Data Governance, but I think Stibo has more specialization in integrating the relationships among the data tables. And then expose this data in the web API as a service. Stipo has documentation of …
Collibra is well suited where you have multiple reporting environments and multiple source systems. Collibra works well in our environment because we can delegate roles and administration to departments or it can be used in a centralized environment. The ability to customize attributes and assets as well and integrate using the rest api is very important to us.
STEP is very good for producing catalogues and direct mail, providing the content is maintained and updated regularly. The autopage function is ideal for catalogues, whereas for more stylised brochures we can paginate into InDesign which allows publishing end users to apply a more visual design.
The cost of this software is very controversial, we do not understand why this price is so high, in most cases this type of program has a better payment plan.
This software has a lot to improve in terms of interaction with each of its users, since the interface can be a bit annoying to understand and start its functions.
Because compare to less negatives, this product has more benefits and positives. I worked on different mdm applications like Reltio, Informatica MDM, enterworks, Inriver(Riversand) when I compare with these tools, Stibo is very user friendly, easy to learn and understanding even for non technical users, it supports lots of integrations, API integrations and it has many core components/features which really help any organization to manage data with Trust.
Collibra offers more features [than alternatives] and is easy for business users to use. We did a proof of concept with Collibra using the Cloud service that allowed us to kick the tires and get a comfort level before we made the investment. At the time of our purchase the market was very immature and is continuing to evolve.
Stibo has an easy-to-use API to use as DATA as a Service. I like SAP Master Data Governance, but I think Stibo has more specialization in integrating the relationships among the data tables. And then expose this data in the web API as a service. Stipo has documentation of cases for Retail and Logistics and how to integrate this spare data.
ROI is hard to measure because there are so many soft benefits that come from the tool. We do have a variety of metrics that we track using Collibra to better gauge the maturity of data governance.
