Overall Satisfaction with Stibo Systems Multidomain MDM

Our organization deals with products, customers and Suppliers therefore Stibo Systems Multidomain MDM is acting like a pillar to my project. It was very painful to see lots of duplicate customer data and Stibo Systems Multidomain MDM is helping us cleanse the data using clerical workflow, match and merge, survivorship rules, etc to create and maintain golden records that helps to boost the marketing and sales. Same goes for supplier and product data as well.

Pros

  • True Multidomain data modelling for Product, Customer and Supplier
  • Very flexible and amazing integration options with several different formats
  • Data governance and workflows are very friendly
  • Onboarding products is very easy, automations for classification and deduplication

Cons

  • PDX which is newly launched and it looks very messy with so many configurations
  • Digital asset handilng is still lacking features depth
  • Product license is very expensive
  • Faster time to market
  • Trusted and improved data quality
  • Regulatory efficiency
  • Negatives are below
  • On-going maintenance costs
  • High initial investment and long time for payback period
Because compare to less negatives, this product has more benefits and positives. I worked on different mdm applications like Reltio, Informatica MDM, enterworks, Inriver(Riversand) when I compare with these tools, Stibo is very user friendly, easy to learn and understanding even for non technical users, it supports lots of integrations, API integrations and it has many core components/features which really help any organization to manage data with Trust.
As I said in my previous comments, Stibo Systems Multidomain MDM suits very much perfect with any kind of MDM implementation be it Supplier/product/customer/location meanwhile other mdm applications are very specific to Product and customer(informatica), Customer MDM(Reltio), riversand(Still implementing) and also few are saas, on-prem, and UI based. But Stibo Systems Multidomain MDM has all these features in one application that's why it is great and differs

Stibo Systems Multidomain MDM really helped managing product details from 3600+ suppliers in different formats like cleaning and validating attributes. Enriching the data with translations and linking digital assets. It helps linking products, hierarchies, plants under flexible and single data model. Provided single and unified view of product life cycle. Step workflows and Validation rules make it strong for data quality and approval flows. One thing I did not like is Stibo Systems Multidomain MDM architecture is optimized for batch or scheduled data integration but not for high frequency
